Happy New Year

January 2, 2014 § Leave a comment

I wish everybody a wonderful new year.

I found some pictures I should have kept secret that Peter took a little while ago. I don’t think we will ever use any of the pictures from the series for anything so I was allowed to put up a few of the candids.

Myself and a bunch of other people also recently worked for Focal Point. We filmed an interesting little number which will come out hopefully sooner then later.

Lately

Peter and I have been creating many pictures lately and when I am not shooting in the studio with him I am painting there. We are traveling to Olinda Golf Course next week again which I am eager for.

I spent this morning with Hana Schlesinger at the Victorian Art museum for the Edward Steichen exhibition. I melted when I saw the Coco Chanel dress!

Today

Today is a day, is a day, is a day
Today is a day like no other day,
Though today feels like every other day,
I know today is today… and not yesterday,
But who’s to say no every day is exactly the same,
For every day I wake, I say
Today is a day, is a day, is a day

The Captain’s Palace

Depending on who the viewer is more familiar with I have noticed when people look at a photograph they can be very one sided over the photographer and model. The thing is there really is no answer to who was a bigger influence toward getting the perfect picture. You are seeing an image that captures the relationship between the photographer and model. Photographer: Peter Coulson

This photograph was taken at Peter Janson’s, Rutherglen house. Mr Janson is the wonderful man who started, “Fashion on the Field” at the races. He was sweet enough to let Peter and I work in his home, which is decorated with furniture ranging from the Gilded Age to the 21st Century. My favorite photograph was the most simple picture we took. I am wearing one of Janson’s beautiful sofas… or it is wearing me! But those pictures may take a few more days to be released.

So what if I am weird and antisocial. I am a little bit interesting and keep out of bad company.

Wasted pages my pen has kissed
Stories I know that won’t be missed
All fed to the ardent flame
Never to be read again

Home Sweet Home

I have arrived home the other week after living in the US for almost a year.

I am excited to be working with Peter Coulson again. We have already done two shoots and we will do another one this coming Tuesday.

I have now been cast in a pilot series and there is talk of another book publication with some of my photographs in it!

Pretty in Pink, But She Can’t Think!

My head is swollen,
It’s full off emptiness you see,
A draft blows through it,
sending shudders to my feet

Below are some photographs Peter Coulson and I shot before I left for L.A He will be traveling to Hollywood early next year for work. I will also be shooting with him during his stay. In the mean time I am on the pursuit to perfecting the art of performance.

Jessica Eisner

I am currently working and studying in Hollywood.

The photographs below were taken a little while ago by Jessica Eisner. They are all taken at my parents house. I moved there when I was eleven. It took me until the day that I moved out to realize how beautiful that house was. Prior to that I couldn’t stand the idea of my family replacing the ‘old house’. It’s funny how attached you get to things, especially as a child.
