A Toothless Faith

The Christian man

There was a christian who could not read,
he bought his friends quite literally,
he was a lonely man with missing teeth,
he walked the streets in search to preach his stories of his well spent friends,
“If you give a simple five or ten they ask for me to read again”,
the old preacher’s eyes looked sad and sore,
his pale blue eyes just empty voids,
his palms grew sweaty,
his existence petty,
this man destined to die alone,
he would spend the rest of his life to drone,
in search of something he does not know.

I met this man as I waited for a train a few years ago. Shortly after meeting him I wrote this.

Raven Clothing Design

I am currently staying in Sweden! I’ve been having a wonderful time visiting relatives and completing another art piece. I’ve been offered a place in February 2012 to display some of my art pieces.

Before I left, Peter Coulson organized a photo shoot for me. I modeled Erin Macneill’s clothing, “Raven”. I loved the gowns I got to wear and look forward to seeing more from her.

Art House

Peter has let me bring my paints into his studio. It’s simply wonderful because while I paint I am able to see all sorts of photo shoots happening at the same time. Last week I even saw something being filmed.

On Saturday night I helped Peter write an interview for an article about him which will be published in the first issue of a new German fashion magazine. He will be featured next to Valentino  Afterward he showed me that some of our photographs have been displayed on Trend Hunter.

Below is a photograph of one of the lovely hats I wore to the races next to it’s maker, Richard Nylon and a wonderful example of Valentino’s Work.

Life in the Studio

The other week I spent a day being photographed by Peter Coulson in his studio.  Peter is like a father to me in the photography world. He raised me into the model I am today teaching me all those sneaky modelling secrets. He also discussed interstate modelling, so hopefully I will be flying to all sorts of areas around Australia to have my picture taken!
