Life plays many tricks on you. Occasionally you can step out and watch from a distance. These are the moments where you truly appreciate life. Then before you know it you get caught up in it’s tricks again.
Enzo Ficco and I were interviewed and photographed for the MX newspaper advertising our act for the upcoming Gangsters Ball! We were interviewed by a gentleman named, Simon Eales and he was a pleasure to talk to. The photographs were taken in the ally way next to the Forum theater with a Rolls Royce! This may also be the car that Enzo and I would be arriving in on the night.
The Ball will be held at the Forum Theater on the 8th of September. Enzo and I are doing two silent magic segments derived from the “Al Cappuccino” performance.

The Melbourne Magic Festival was too short lived! By the time we settled in a nice performance rhythm it was all over. My written script was received very nicely by the audience. I had such a terrible fear that nobody would laugh. Enzo Ficco was a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with him again. We already have a function booked and it looks like another public event too.
I will be working again with Tony Ferrieri in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we are also able to start filming the next short film soon. I will be performing next to one of my most respected actors in this particular film.
Peter Coulson and I shot together a while back in my house. I’ve put up some of the photographs. Our next project will be another location shoot. It’s nice to get out of the studio for a while.

Last night was the Gala show for the Melbourne Magic Festival. Enzo Ficco and I performed a section of our performance, “A Magical Journey Back In Time” which was received delightfully well! It was so interesting meeting other magicians and seeing their acts. My friend Anthony Demasi was performing there too. He is now a renowned Melbourne magician. He was actually the one who suggested me to Enzo to be involved in his, “Al Cappuccino” act.
I’m honestly very nervous because I’ve scripted a lot of it and I’m not terribly sure about how my writing will be received. I guess I shouldn’t be too worried as Enzo’s magic is that good I’m certain it can save me from whatever blunder I may make.
